This policy does two things:
It serves to refactor user-generated content in order to extend the human moderation team (read: it offers protection from scrutiny by choosing to depend on contextual bias vs. algorithmic bias).
It allows ideologies and people without “skin in the game” to have a vestment strategy against (the open discussion of) differences in opinion.
What this will result in is the curtailing of free speech to even more restrictive levels than Twitter already enforces with an iron
Expect an army of keyboard warriors to set their aim on flagging every single thought or opinion that they disagree with as being “factually out of context”, or whatever label that Birdwatch will seek to standardize as anathema.
